Tigers Arrive in Pasadena for BCS Matchup

PASADENA, Cali. (WPMI) The Auburn Tigers are gearing up to take on the Florida State Seminoles in the BCS Championship game.The team arrived in California Tuesday. They were greeted by iconic Disney characters Mickie and Minnie Mouse.Local 15's Clement Townsend is covering the game from Pasadena.The big game is five days away. Clement asked the Auburn's coach how the team is gearing up.First of all there's a long layoff, so strategically you've got to plan your practices and everything that goes with that. And then once you get here it's not a normal Bowl week. There's a lot of extra stuff that goes with it, so that past experience has got to help. And the fact that we do have some players that've experienced it. I know they've talked to some lower guys, talked to some upper guys, kind of told them what to expect. Hopefully that will definitely help us moving forward next week, said Auburn coach Gus Malzahn.Local 15 will be in California all week for the BCS Championship game.
