Johnson is the victim of Wednesday night's fatal hit and run.

THEODORE, Ala. (WPMI) Mobile County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle. Lt. Paul Burch tells Local 15 News alcohol is believed to be a factor. 

The incident occurred on private property in the 9300 block of Three Notch Road. Deputies say 21-year-old Craig McCorvey fled on foot, but was later taken into custody by deputies.

McCorvey is charged with manslaughter.
