GULF BREEZE, Fla. (WPMI) A Gulf Breeze police officer was dragged by a moving car during a traffic stop Monday evening. Dashcam video of the traffic stop has been released to show the terrifying moments. Sergeant Kerstan Tatro said Amy Giorgia was behind the wheel driving erratically, so he pulled her over. She told him her gas pedal was stuck, but he suspected she was driving impaired. Sgt. Tatro said she agreed to a sobriety test, but moments later she grabbed her keys and took off. "I just remember accelerating about a car or two lengths with her until I was able to dislodge myself," said Sgt. Tatro. Giorgio was eventually caught by Pensacola Police at the Crown Plaza Hotel where crack pipes and syringes were found in the car.
